Introductory 15-Minute Telephone Call
Our initial contact will be by telephone. During the course of the call I will work to get a clear understanding of the concerns that bring you to counselling and to decide whether I am the right person to help you address them (See FAQ). You may raise any questions you may have about any aspect of the counselling process and decide whether I am the right ‘fit’ for your needs. If we both feel we are a good fit we’ll proceed with a first booking, which may be virtual or on the trail.
“The human soul doesn’t want to be advised or fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed — to be seen, heard and companioned exactly as it is.”
Walk and Talk Therapy
Researchers at Stanford University have shown repeatedly that walking outdoors in nature has long-term positive benefits. It reduces feelings of anxiety and improves mood, memory and thinking.
